What Leon said: it shows AAA membership. Given the mounting holes, it was probably intended to be attached to a bumper.

Personally, I don't even care much for tiny decals on my windshield, let alone a bumper sticker or medallion that might trigger some nutcase. There are more than enough unprovoked and random attacks to go around these days!
