Double line was a product of the Seminole Flavor Company of Chattanooga, Tenn., which was the parent company of Double Cola. The Double Line might have been a flavor line much like Nehi.

They changed the bottle to this in the 1950's.

try looking for embossing around the flat portion near the bottom of the bottle, or on the bottom itself. If there is nothing there then the only thing I can tell you is 1940's or early 1950's maybe. Double Cola bottles can be very deceptive when it comes to age, many have no embossing of a date on them whatsoever, which is very annoying when you are trying to use them as artifact evidence in dating a bottling company.
