Hi Matt,
You probably saw on ebay a couple of weeks ago the gentleman who listed some nice early rare patent medicines.
One of the bottles I really liked and won the bid for.It is called Dingees Pulmonic Remedy.
The seller listed it as unlisted and the only known example.I really like the bottle and can guess its age
between 1820 to 1840 because of the style. My first question to you is have you heard of this bottle prior to this listing?
Second in your opoinon is the bottle as rare as stated?Third, your guess on the age of its manufacture and possibly
from which city or state or country for that matter that it came from.?
The bottle is beautifull it has a ton of whittle, indented panels on three sides, a deep pontil, and it is very clean.
The only draw back is there is chipping on the lip affecting about 30 % of the flared lip.
I have tried the web to no avail it justs lists the two sales the bottle has been in.
Any information would be very appreciated as usual.

The first picture was taken outside to show the true aqua color.

It is rare, Greer didnt have one, its not in ODell's book, or Holst.
I have seen a couple of them.
I would guess maybe 1830s to 1840s.
I dont know where it is from. I tried researching it a bit but havent found anything conclusive. There was a Dingee that had a store in NYC in the 1840s. It would be nice to know where it was found.

Let me know if you find anything. I will keep a lookout. May be worth posting on my medicine forum under Unidentified Medicines ... http://antiquemedicines.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7&sid=ca0dacd8e696ccf3d3e6471dc293e9b3
