So I'll try to keep it relative. Here's a really cool US belt buckle embedded in melted glass. It was found in the firepit of a Civil War hut at our second Diggin' in Virginia event

I think it was more an accident than a creation Red. They put all sorts of things in their fireplaces. Boredom I guess.

Usually when they get that hot the lead is long gone.
I have dug a lot of interesting items in cival war hut sites.
