Hi James, I don't know my Peppers but if they're like most sodas then year, town etc all effect value. I think anyone is gonna need a little more than what you gave to be accurate. I do see "good for life" started about 1930 in one book but I don't know for how long. Anything before or after wouldn't so couldnt tell you which is older anyway. That's why specifics are SOOOooooo important in most cases.

the greenish one has l-g and 53 on bottom and l-g 7-30 on the base

clear says 6 1/2 oz and green one says 6oz

Hey James, The clear one is older and was used longer. Unless they have a town or city name they are worth about 5 bucks. They both came in embossed and debossed but the value is about the same.

Embossed is raised on the surface and debossed is made into the surface.
