I dug this cool Royal Baking Soda sign today. I also dropped my phone down a very very deep gap in the rocks, I bet its 100 feet deep with a large amount of water at the bottom. I dropped a few large rocks down & heard a large splash. Anyway heres a pics of the sign do u think it can be saved?

LOOKS TO BE PORCELAIN. WHEN PORCELAIN IS BURIED AND IN DIRT FOR A LONG PERIOD, THERE REALLY IS NO WAY TO BRING IT BACK TO LIFE UNLESS YOU WANT TO SPEND ALOT OF TIME AND EFFORT TRYING TO BUFF IT OUT WITH SUPER FINE STEEL WOOL OR 800-1200 GRIT SANDPAPER AND A JEWELERS ROUGE CREAM POLISH...EVEN THEN YOUR EFFORTS FOR SUCH A SCRAPPY SIGN AREN'T GONNA BE GLEAMING.

I've dug a number of similar porcelain signs over the years and I agree, once they're roughed up a lot, there's not a lot you cando to save them. However, they look cool hanging in a shed or garage. I usually sell them for a few bucks at yard sale or flea markets. If you can dig them with vey litte damage, however, they sell for good money. I got $750.00 for a pair of Ford used car signs once that said " A-1" on them. That was a good lunch break find.

Hi VirginaDigger, cool sign looks possibly like it could be a door push. I found a sign a couple of years back along with a handful of bottles, ended up just bringing the bottles home as I just couldn't carry everything back to the car. Well months went by and winter came and went before I got back to pick up the sign.

Hey Virginiadigger. I can't get through on your phone. All I hear is gurgling noises.
