Dug this Chamber pot lid was dug today

When it comes to chamber pots, finding a matching lid to a pot gets tough*. ..When it comes to crocks, seemingly always a lot less lids.

*- Your lid appears to be stoneware with a sponge/leaf pattern. What's it's diameter? (Might be to a crock..).

I think you are right it is a crock lid

it is not chamber pot lid. Len was right it is a19th century sponge leaf crock lid per [ Etsy ]
