Early Ink

If you go here http://www.sha.org/bottle/household.htm#Ink wells you will find a lot of information on inks and should be able to date it and posably find out who made it. As for value, what someone is willing to pay. I really like it but would not pay more than $20 for one.

Victorian burst top/shear top ink. Hard to know manufacturer without a mark or label. Pretty common, but still collectable. You can find a lot on ebay. They're not worth very much monetarily, but some forms and colors can be more valuable.

I've got a similar one, but in cobalt blue color. Nice ink!
