This is a bottle auction to support the bottle forum.
I havent put up any bottles for forum auctions lately so here is your chance to make a donation to support the forum AND get a bottle too.

This is a small perfume or cologne embossed X. BAZIN PHILADA.
It is about 4 1/4" with the stopper.

Xavier Bazin was a famous perfumer and soap maker who starting in Philly around the 1850s.

Most of you are aware of his great pot lids. This bottle was probably made in the late 1860s or early 1870s. It is clear glass (flint?) and has some whittle to the glass. The neck is ground for a stopper. The stopper shown was found with it and is an early hand cut one.
This item will go nice with your X Bazin pot lids.

The bottle has no damage, just some sticky content residue I didnt try that hard to clean out. The stopper has a chip on the corner.

This action will end SUNDAY night Dec 14th at 8:00PM EST.
Winner will send payment to Roger forum Admin. They will send me thier shipping address and I will send item. I will pay postage in the USA.

Thanks for looking.
