I'm the editor of a new antiques website, The Collectors Weekly. We've developed a new way to sort eBay listings and are wondering if folks on this list would find it useful for us to post a weekly text listing of the top 40 eBay bottle auctions each Friday (as shown below)? Not sure how it would benefit me. I just go to the category I'm interested in and tell it to sort by highest price first to get a similar list.
Also you will probably find most serious bottle collectors specialize on one or more specific category. For instance I mostly just look at medicines.
Now if you could show us a list of bottles for sale from sources other than ebay or the big bottle auction sites that would be something to look at.

I don't know about top bottles, that would be an opinion. eBay 40 highest priced bottles would be more accurate.

Thanks all for the great feedback.

It sounds like the consensus is that posting this list every week wouldn't be useful, for reasons that make sense, so I won't.

Re: GuntherHess's comment about specialization I would mention that for anyone who's interested, we have 11 different bottles pages on The Collectors Weekly, each focused on a specific subcategory, e.g.:
