Embossed Pint milk but no dairy name

Picked this one up on the weekend, a pint with compete metal closure with handle but the metal band that connects handle to the bottle is missing.It has a very slight hint of amethyst in it, embossing on the left side says ' Trademark Registered Full Measure Pint ' , the opposiite side says ' This Bottle To Be Washed And Returned ' . The bottom is embossed ' Patent APPD For , A C S & Co . 1I am looking for info pertaining to the Maker , date and perhaps value.Thank for looking. I have no idea but if the c is a g it could be American Glass Specialty Company 1901-3 in Monaca PA. There isn't much info and it's a far fetched but it's a thought.From Jaw Hawkins Glasshouses of Pittsburgh book.

Eric , you are correct , it is a G , NOT a C ....

I got this from David Whitten....
Albert G. Smalley & Company. They were evidently not a "true" glass manufacturer, but they were a major distributor and they sold various kinds of jars that were actually made by other unnamed glassmakers.
