I recently got another etched dose glass advertising Victor Liver Syrup (company was eventually owned by Dr Fahrney in Frederick MD).
These dose glasses commemorate the big German Baptist (Dunkard Brethern) conferences held in differnet cities. The Fahrneys were big in the Dunkard church and it seems it would good networking for his business interests.
They have the clasped hands on the front and Victor Liver Syrup on the back.

Even common embossed California dose glasses are selling on ebay for way more than I've ever paid for one. Almost impossible to win a rare dose glass these days unless a person has unlimited money to spend.
