no pic of the bottom of that one yet, they were taken quickly as I was heading out. like I said, some of them will find their way into my drawings or paintings along the way. it`s the colors I`m after primarily, and I`ve been doing this for less than a couple of weeks so far, have seen a few on line here that look promising but it`s a lot more fun digging them up. went to a really old shrine last week I mean built before America was even an idea in any European`s mind...and found a couple of places where they have just dumped a lot of old stuff.....broken windows, pots, roof tiles etc.....so there could be some bottles there but the freaking mozzies were voracious, like I was the only warm blooded mammal they`d seen all summer and they were taking advantage of that so I`ll go back when they`re gone.

That is really crude,they must have used that mold a lot. Good luck with your finds. We too a waiting for the skeeters to go away, but that's not likely in louisianna. They grow year round down here if the winters are mild.

Actually I am a transplant from Mississippi. Going home in December , going to hit my home town dump. It's TOC but I usually get some descent stuff.
