I recently came across my first dump site along a large seasonal creek. Most everything on the surface is 1950's; I was hoping to find older stuff underneath but no such luck, yet. The glass is mostly shards. The only whole bottles are small or insignificant.

Second image holds promise for some de-bossed Dr. Pepper's, the bottom of the amber bottle shown at the top middle looks to be from a Falstaff beer, I don't recall ever seeing one with the Falstaff Shield embossed on the bottom before. Might be worth doing some digging and try to find some complete ones. I would.....;)

That could mean you've located a previously-dug site; but I would not advise giving up too early. The hunt is the adventure; is it not?

A member of our forum, ROBBYBOBBY64, has knapped spear points from such embossed Clorox bottle bases as the one you found. And, as noted by UnderMiner, other artistic inspiration might well lurk among the shards.
