Just curious on what is it? After my research I came to the conclusion of a double ringed flint glass flask. ANy info would be appreciated. I figured the massive wreck of a job finishing the lip was the factor the put this in pre-1900. All the actual crud which usually gets in cracks is in what looks to be crudity from horrible craftmanship. No actual cracks. Maybe a large hair removed or something? Anyhow the crudeness of the application and the fact it was double ringed was what compelled me to ask for some info. Please and Thank you.

Location
Frederick, MD.
I think that is referred to as a jojo flask. Common in the 1890s. The South Carolina Dispensary used them quite a bit.
Not really flint glass, they are clear manganese bleached glass.

Hey Dave,

"Flint glass - A heavy, leaded glass of high quality with high refractive power, and great luster used in the choicest cut glassware (White 1978). It was also glass made using calcined flints, or flints reduced to a white powder, as a source of silica (Kaiser 2009). The term later used loosely by glass manufacturers in reference to clear or colorless glass in general (Scholes 1941)." Bill Lindsey.
