Found a A U patent Dec 19 1871 insulator

I was wondering how rare this is b/c the only info ive found about it that AU stands for American Union and this is a hemingray patent a earier hemingray! i got it at a estate sale and no cracks but 1 very minor chip on side, any info would be appreciated, any idea what it could be worth, some site says it scarce should i believe them? i can get better pics just let me know thx

Anyways,

it's a cd-121.4 Hemingray product and yes AU stands for american union. The book is 30-40, nothing rare but a nice old piece of glass that is quite hard to come buy in the wild. It's probably from around the late 1870's to 1880's i beleive, nice insulator.

thx for your reply, its hard to find any info, thats cool that its worth 30-40 ive paid one dollar for it
