I found this Dr. Pepper bottle at my grandparents house. Can anyone tell me the age? There is no clock on it and it has Fort Smith Ark on the base
Thank you.kind of a different design for a dr pepper bottle , likely from a smaller local bottler which is why its marked Fort Smith Ark .
don't think that design was widely used by dr pepper if used at all
Thank you. Glad I figured out some of the stuff you just said. It will make a nice flower vaseFrom the markings on the bottom of the bottle we know the bottle was made by the Owens Illinois Glass Co's (the diamond/oval/I symbol in the middle)plant in Streeter Illinois (the number 9) in 1935. (the number 5). This bottle was most likely used for a flavored soda that was bottled by the Dr. Pepper Bottling Co. of Fort Smith, Arkansas. It never contained the soda Dr. Pepper.
Nice art deco style bottle.
Thank you.
