This was just way too good not to share.

So, I was watching The Man Who Fell to Earth last night on Netflix for the very first time in my entire life, and then comes on a scene (around the 40 minute mark) with a familiar-looking (to me) green bottle. I couldn't believe it.

About 3 months ago, my wife found the same exact bottle, in perfect condition, out in the desert. It is a 4/5 quart Gallo wine of California bottle with lots of bubbles in the glass.

Question is: should I now jazz it up and go put it on the 'bay with an astronomical reserve in place? ;-)

Yup, "rare movie prop" last seen on the big screen etc. Gotta be at least a 1500 reserve, doesn't it...?

Hey Kid,

Bonanza, really! Can you see the profile of David Bowie in the glass?

Man, Ernest & Julio, did it again. This could be a very humorous, and possibly money making eplace item. I can see it now, "The Bottle of The Man Who Fell to Earth" meets The Gods Must be Crazy.
