Fridley & Cornmans Patent Oct 25th 1859 Ladies choice Fruit jar. 1QT. Aqua. niceley whittled. Nice bottle 1inch hairline in base. No closure. Minor lip chipping on ground lip. Met guy at flea market who wants to sell bottle. Fair offers will be considerd.

You should post it i the jar section and without alot of pics you're going to get zero offers....

The one inch crack kills the value of the jar. Since the closure is missing, there is chipping and a crack, the value would be under $100.

have tp post pics when I get a chance. The bottle isn't in that bad of shape when you see it in pics. The couple chips barely visible same with hairline crack. You will see:)

100 seems about right .....the crack kills the value....

With the chipping and crack, it likely would not pay to even put a reproduction closure on it. The crack kills it.
