I just recently purchased 5 blob top and 4 early bimal crown tops for my collection all from St. Louis. No new names, just variations of bottles I already have.
This Sudhoff bottle is different in that it does not say soda water on it like the two I have.
The first I find Sudhoff in local directories is in 1872.
This listing is from 1877 and list all three partners. I believe Gerhard and Gerhard are cousins, the 1880 census tells me that Gerhard H. was born in Hanover and Gerhard was born in Prussia. 1891 is the last year for Sudhoff & Co. So these bottles date to that time period.
Here is my new bottle, before and after being tumbled and a picture showing all three. I'll post the others after cleaning.
