galveston was a port of entry from 1835 on, any body intrested i have already found some nice stuff digging a new sewer line for my victorian and i didn't even get below the grade raise after the great storm of 1900

I'm in Victoria Texas and used to do alot of digging. Can't read the embossing on those bottles except the Circle A. That one is a good early Dr Pepper bottle. The short one looks like a Galveston Brewing Texas Splits bottle and the one with a star I'm not sure about. Good luck with your digging.

Great finds. If I found bottles like that in my yard, the wife would dig up the whole place. She has done it before.[:)]
