I translated the words Erzeugnis Deutscher Brunnen and came up with Product of German Fountain.

the weird part is that there is a screw track on the INSIDE of the neck. Ive never seen that before.

You'll find many European bottles that had interior thread stoppers, there are some from the USA as well...

You'll find many European bottles that had interior thread stoppers, there are some from the USA as well...
Agreed. Inside Screw Threads go back at least to the 1860s here in the U.S.A. Many of the San Francisco whiskey fifths made around 1900 used them and the Whitney Glass Works used it back in the 1860s - 70s.

thanks for the picture of the stopper. that was really bothering me. I get bothered easy nowadays. got too many digs lined up and my back has been out for months. thanks also on the use. (mineral).
