Great way to spend $10

Got a FB message about a garage sale in the next town over about some jars and bottles, I was leaving with 6 of them when I noticed this Westinghouse Occilator in great conditon and in working order, the lady wanted $20 and I offered her $10 which she took, I'm very happy that none of the people who saw it between 8am-2pm noticed it. This fan brings big money so it was a good thing I decided to go look at the jars and bottles...

The jars are OK, $10-20 each in past sales on Ebay, at a $1 a piece they'll pay for gas and lunch all week...[]

Hey nice score! I always pick up the old fans I see priced reasonably. Not too long ago I redid the wiring on one so it could be safely used. Old appliances like that are pretty awesome.

Thanks Plumb, deconstruction has started and repaint will take place this week along with some detailing and polishing the bare maetal parts... It's Garage Sale season by me for sure

THAT'S DEF A "COOL" FAN FOR SURE. I HAVE A COUPLE SMALL OLDIES MYSELF WHEN THEY WERE ALL METAL!

A LOCAL FRIEND OF MINE COLLECTS OLD FANS AND OLD RADIOS TOO. NEAT STUFF!
