Hello! I am new to the group and I was hoping to find out some info on a bottle I found on a construction dig at work. It Is a J.T.S. Brown & Sons Whiskey bottle. No other markings on the bottle anywhere. I was hoping to find a time frame on when it may have been made. Thank you for any help!

Hi, and welcome to the site!

Try to take another detailed photo of the neck and lip area of the bottle, but 90-degrees turned from the one you provided as first of three above. It looks like there are tooling marks near the lip--a photo that clearly shows the mold seam in that area should tell the tale. If the seam was wiped out by lip tooling, then your bottle is a blown-in-mold, tooled lip (or tooled top some say) antique, and is approximately 1900 production, plus or minus roughly a decade.

Some of our members who are great researchers of brands and manufacturers will likely pin it down more precisely.

I'll guess around 1900-1919 time frame but can't see the seam to narrow it down more. LEON.
