Found this morning heavily encrusted size 4 1/4 inch or 10.5cm. After cleaning in vinegar quite large bubbles up to 1/4 inch or 7mm plus smaller bubbles are visible along with ripples in the glass. It h

as a side seam and a threaded top that looks modern. The base is very thick. It was found in an area where 1880 gin bottles are often found.
Any help to age it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the site! I don't think that one's very old unfortunately. Maybe 1960s or so. The design is cruder than we'd expect from that era up here but that's just because different places modernized their glass factories at different times. Keep looking though, I know there are some wonderful bottles to find in Indonesia! Someone a while back posted some great Indonesian finds on here, including an 1850s soda.

I liked it better crusted over, but that is my opinion. Like C.B. said welcome to the forum.
