Help identify this please

I found several of these bottles on my property and would appreciate any information on what they used to contain. They don't have any embossing other than a single digit at the base (a 4 or a 5). One of them appears to have had a paper label at some point judging from the remnant glue on the front. Some have a plastic screw cap, others metal (painted white). They look like Phillips Milk of Magnesia bottles but they are missing the usual embossed words and they seem to have a different shoulder.

No way to be certain what a generic unembossed bottle contained. Could have been an off-brand milk of magnesia or something along the lines of mineral oil. Probably something that you could have purchased over the counter at a pharmacy, whatever it was.
