Hemingray 9 blueish insulator

was given this by mother who bought it at a yard sale a few weeks ago, i guess she though i'd be interested in it , think she paid a $ 1 for it . i don't know much about it , other than that its a hemingray - 9 and was made in USA . its sort of light blue in colour , is it any good ? common ? any info be appreciated .

yea pretty common, probably worth the $1 max-
-Probably from around 1915--1930, after some time around 1930 everything tended to be clear.

On a side note, in the last crown jewels mag. there was an article about how the sand used to make that sort of hemingray blue shade came from a big sand dune in Michigan city, indiana- one day i plan on taking all the hemingray blue insulators i can gather and making an insulator pilgrimage back to where the sand dune (which got 100% converted into insulators, ball jars, and a million other things) once stood so that it can be rebuilt...
