Hemingray Santa Ana style

Very little insulator action on this forum, so here's a scarce high-voltage insulator made just before the turn of the 20th century.

The style is the 'Santa Ana' (CD 178), which is seen made by a couple other manufacturers. This one was made by Hemingray, and bears a prismatic embossing (patent date on rear), and sharp drip points. I don't believe there are many in the hobby, and the two I've seen offered for sale (besides this one) were quite damaged. Shame.

Also nicknamed 'the spaceship'. The 'Santa Ana' is not only a nickname, but a primary embossing on these CD178's ([020]), and a secondary (back side) embossing on some marked California. Forgot to clarify.
