Bake,
Download this free program it is very easy to use. http://adionsoft.net/fastimageresize/FastImageResizer.exe Save it to the desktop and then follow the easy instructions to install it. To use the program is simple. It will shrink a whole folder of 10 to 20 pictures in about 5 seconds that are small enough for this bottle forum. Use the 640 x 480 size setting in the drop down window. It creates a new folder called resized. Just left click drag a single picture or a group of pictures in one swipe to where it says drop files here. The program will begin to work at the very moment you release your mouse. If your source pictures are individually placed on your desktop the program will create a single file folder named resized on your desktop. If your source files are coming from a folder you have created and named say for instance bottles, it will put the resized folder in the bottles folder. The pictures should now be much smaller in data size then the originals. When you take a picture with a digital camera generally the default setting individual picture size is about 3 to 4 megs in size. You need 200 KBs or less for this forum. Generally speaking using the 640x 480 in the resolution drop down tab will shrink the data size of the picture from say 3 megs to 120 Kbs which is perfect for this forum. This should help you in the future with size issues. As far as posting the pictures at this forum as others have stated already put a check mark in the small box where it says Embed picture in post
