Hey Al,

Hope you're feeling better & better. I did find this page, which indicates a whole buncha lawyers were involved long about 1950. They must still be involved as you gotta pay to read more...

I have several of those bottles, my wife uses them as christmas decor along with the Trick or Treat bottles for halloween. What I would LOVE to find or even see is a Santa Cola sign. If anyone has one send me a picture.[:-]

Ho-ho-ho Roy,

I doubt that this is authentic, but best I coud do on short notice:

"ЕÑли Санта Ñтолько рекламирует напиток может проще его переименовать так:" It has Russian description. From.

You too, Al,

Does your bottle have a recognizable date code? Were these one year wonders? That year being 1950, before they were sued into oblivion.

I had this photo of a Santa "cap" in my files, but at present I don't know exactly what brand it went to or which city/state it's from. Ho-ho-ho!

Actually one of those just sold on ebay attached to the letter sent by the soda company it belonged to. Turns out it was a B-1 cap. They also had a Davy Crockett cap. I thought about bidding on it but passed. Not sure what it sold for, but the Davy Crockett seemed to have done well.

Just for the record, I thought I'd share this photo of what a B-1 bottle looks like. I thought it was interesting because of the combination of Christmas colors, Red & Green. It's not my bottle, but the information associated with it said this particular example was from 1947. [:)]
