Has a "Hold Harmless Agreement" got much legal power in the US ? here someone can sign a stat-dec. and still sue if they get hurt (don't ask how, it's a stuffed legal system here [:mad:] ).
It's a good idea anyhow though, a whole lot better than nothing if something goes wrong [;)] .

How large is your land ? Is the dump old enough to produce a heavy bottle ?

If this local digger ever finds anything of interest you will not know about it. He is essentially a liability that is stealing from you.

You keep the rare bottles......he keeps the duplicates.

I agree with Heavy. He can have one of every bottle that you dig two or more of, if he wants it. He still comes out in front, and you can negotiate for any one offs he wants. I would be happy with that arrangement if I were in his shoes.
