How old is the cruet /decanter, who made it?

My sons dug up this decanter/cruet can anybody tell me how old it is and possibly who made it.it is 7 1/2 inches tall , stopper doesn't quite fit so it may not go with this cruet, but my sons found it in the same place

The stopper may not be original, but it's a very good match.
I'll see what I can find for you.

Your cruet is US Glass Co. #15121 known as Portland c.1880's, also by Portland Glass Co., c.1870's. The info shown in this link is correct and matches info I found in several other books. Note especially the "cut shut" mark on the bottom, as cruets were molded open on each end and the bottoms were tooled shut.

Additional info for you ~ this era of glassmaking is known as EAPG = Early American Pattern Glass from @ 1850-1912, give or take a few years. :)
