How old is this and where it was made

looks like it just says "half pint " , without a dairy name on it , be impossible to date to a specific year

could be from as early as the 20's but also 30's or 40's era

Yeh, I've seen half pint milks and creams like that going back to 1905–10. Without a dairy, it's hard to say more.. Anything on the base?

There may be manufacturer marks on the bottom that could indicate a manufacture date. Sometime that kind of mark can also be found near the heel area. There may be no mark.

It would be difficult then to place an exact date on it. I think the other collectors have given you a good idea on the approximate age.
