What date did screw on tops happen,, I have a blue bottle that Im wondering about?

it has "DES PAT 92148" printed on the bottom

got it, it is a medicine bottle,, just dont know the year

The patent was filed March 16, 1933, so it was made sometime after that date. It was designed by a man named Stanley J. McGiveran. The bottle was produced by the owens-illinois glass co. (Toledo, Ohio) Hope that helps?
