I found this bottle and need help identifying

I found this bottle the other day and the most I can tell is that it was machine made and us a foster-forbes product. I'm looking for what this was possibly used for and age if anyone can help that would be delightful.

You beat me to it Skoda! I'm ancient enough to have drunk from such a glass bottle. I'm not a jock, but I gave the product a try when it was fairly new on the market. I wanted to see if it actually quenched thirst better than plain water, and also to compare its taste to Tang, which I added to water to make a sweeter drink (calories and vitamin C) for around camp.

Yeah, didn't they bill it as what astronauts drank on the space station, even though they never actually drank it up there?
