I recently purchaced this ice water crock at an antique show and would like any additional info that anyone may have.

I can tell you this it is a four gallon water cooler. That is what the 4 means. The rest is just my opinion, but I believe it might date from 1890-1900 because of the extensive relief molding and the gothic style letters in Ice water. I could guess at the value and that would only be a guess and if I was wrong you would never forget me or my estimated value. So I won't guess, That is a cool water jug and it is a shame you don't have the lid.

Nice crock! Missing lid witch may or may not have been decorated also. You could match one to it. I have seen these go from $150.00 to 400.00 depending on condition. Any makers marks?

The maker is most likely Whites/Utica. They produced an extensive line of molded embossed ware in the 1890-1910 period.
An original lid free of cracks and chips will greatly enhance both the apperance and value, but can be both expensive and hard to find.
I would say the earlier estimates of 150 to 400 are pretty good, with the high end being with a lid, and the low end with out a lid.
