Hey Worm, here's pix of the only (I think) decent Illinois bottle I found in that collection. It's a LANG BROS / CHICAGO soda. Don't know the value yet, haven't researched it. If you want to make a fair offer I will consider it. Jim

Oh nice! What condition is it in? Looks to be nice. If no chips or cracks I would offer $30. The last one that sold was 100% mint and brought $40 on eBay. What were the other Illinois ones you found?

The bottle has no chips or cracks but does have some scratches here and there. It would look really good if tumbled or hand worked with rubbing compound. I would accept $30 and split the mailing cost with you, all your money back if you aren't happy with it. PM me with your mailing address if you want it, I'll send it out on approval. Jim

Ok I will take it then. Can you do me a favor though? There is a huge bottle auction just 20 minutes from my house and I want to save some money for it. I will let you know on Sunday night. I do want it though. Will that work for you? Did you find anything else from Illinois?

Not a problem but I'll have to charge a storage fee. [] Take all the time you need, it won't go anywhere. My search through 30+ boxes was pretty quick, I was mainly looking for the most marketable stuff. There is a lot of junk in there but there might be some more Illinois bottles, I'll look better on the next search and let you know. Get back to me when convenient. Jim
