Hello; Well it looks like the little ones that were used for lightning rod cable stand-offs. There are a lot of different ones, but your pictures were a little too big to get a good viewing. RED Matthews

Andrew - these are very common and there aren't many people collecting porcelain spools, so maybe a dollar or so, and it may take some work to find a person willing to pay that.



Red - I can understand why you thought this might be a lightning rod spool. I recognized the profile from the photos after having seen a LOT of these over the years. Porcelain lightning rod spools look a bit different and are quite a bit smaller, but of course it's always tough to estimate size from a photo. Here's a photo of the lightning rod types:
