Another new addition to my collection of St. Louis soda's. Fresh out of the tumbler so I have before and after pictures once again.
John O'Brien was a soda manufacturer from 1865 to 1906. I recently purchased about a dozen or so St. Louis blobs that were all excavated by the same person. So I am able to date this bottle to the 1873 - 1876 timeframe, I know this by having researched the Wetter & Mehrkens bottle. He came out pretty good but one slight fracture going into the E, couldn't have been on the other side. Oh Well! This is the only bottle I have that has AGT under the name. I believe this stands for Agent. No glass makers mark on this one.
