Bromo-Selzer is commonly sold in drug stores, both by the bottle and at soda fountains. The full dose is "a heaping teaspoonful." A heaping teaspoonful of Bromo-Selzer means about ten grains of acetanilid. The United States Pharmacopoeia dose is four grains: five grains have been known to produce fatal results. The prescribed dose of Bromo-Selzer is dangerous and has been know to produce sudden collapse.

Hi athometoo, Now that is a serious over sight. It is almost as bad as the ground up plastic bottles in our dog and cat food. Malamine - the same thing that has stricken babies in China with the melamine put in cattle food and causing kidney and gal stones in the babies & the same thing that has stricken others with the melamine in chicken feed that has hit a lot of people there with the melamine in chicken egg yokes.
I can't help but wonder where the Food and Drug Administration is working. RED M.

i here ya red . i give my dogs everything not eaten by my family . leftovers , and yes doggie bags from when we eat out too . some people frown on it but i personally think its healther than most processed dog food . my dogs love steamed veggies too . digging those bromos thinking its harmless rolaids type stuff . my dogs especially get excited when i fire up the grill or smoker once a week . sam
