I found these two sodas on Saturday. The Glendale 7 ounce bottle is the first I have seen in that size. I have a 20 ouncer and sold a couple more of those in the past. At one time the company was controlled by the local mob.The other is hard to see all of it but the band around the shoulder says Quality Beverages and at the bottom Kansas City Dr Pepper BTG CO. Both date from the 1930's. I found two funky shaped Nu-Grape bottles in different places, but they wanted about twice what I am willing to pay. Scott

I have a 20oz Glendale too and have seen the 7oz for sale on ebay a few times but it always seems overpriced to me.Your historical note on Glendale was interesting! An excellent Kansas City bottle is the Serenader's bottle. It comes in both 18oz and 8oz. I don't know about Kansas City ones in particular, but the hourglass Nu-Grape bottles in general are common, so yeah, don't pay much for them. The more desirable version is the non-hourglass Nu-Grape with grapes on it.

Thanks for the information on the Serenader's. I haven't seen an 18 ouncer. The Nu-Grapes were $25 in the hourglass shape. Yeah, others can be found on Ebay for under 10. That's probably where I'll wind up buying one. I did not know there was a Nu Grape with grapes. I started collecting KC sodas a couple of years ago after got rid of a bunch of other bottles. I am more interested in hand blown stuff, but have become intrigued by the shapes of the soda bottles and the large number of businesses that made soda locally. Always something to learn here.Scott
