Cool pix, as a young tot I made it there for the '82 World's Fair but don't remember a thing about the city. The JFG building is like a shrine of sorts to you,I'd imagine.. I feel a strong sense of history in buildings where some of the bottles I have were filled.
I like the railroad tracks too...takin pics,...walkin them, or whatever. Lauren's never put a penny on the tracks, one of these days I'm going to catch it right so we can do that... we've got a fairly busy mainline just out across the 'Bayou' from us....far enough away to be pleasant,The same locomotive(s) usually goes by with a cool sounding horn....Here's a cool pic I happened upon...found myself wondering about a privy or dump for this house. Sorry for horning[] in on your post. Joe
yea your right, ive been inside both of them there now condos and or apts, i work right next door, thats the crazy thing ,there was a coffee grinder in the building to the left with a pipe leading to the building on the right, that pumped the ground coffee to be packed the locals said it smelled strong like coffee dowtown back in the day mike
