I find a Leopold Nickolaus working in the soda water business as early as 1877. I am not sure who he worked for in the early days. In 1895, Leopold goes into business for himself and in 1896 Leopold Jr. is listed as partner. Not sure why but in 1903 his son William is now listed as partner and Leopold JR. is listed as a press. 1908 and no listing for the soda works.
I have two bottles in my collection from L. Nickoaus & Son. An early blob type bottle and a later crown top. The blob is new to my collection and I am showing before and after pictures. Before being how I received it and after going through a good tumble cleaning. The crown top I found in good condition.
