Hi,
Found this old embossed beer bottle from the Lexington Brewing Company. Not the Lexington Kentucky that I first thought of either. Instead it is from the Lexington MO area. An online search revealed that this brewery was a major bust for the FBI during the prohibition year of 1929. It was being operated under cover of a Furrier. Upon being busted the estimated brewery value was $30,000. Not much by todays standards but think how much money that would of been in 1929. Any information on what this bottle might currently be worth is greatly appreciated. I would also like to say "Thank You!" to the Lexington Brewery in MO that now operates as a restraunt there for all the historical information on this brewing company.
