Hi Old S. Bottles, (Like the way you did your club name) :)
I just came up with a EM Ferry in about the same condition. From what I remember it was a store that was around for over 100 hundred years approx. before going out about 2000 ish. Did you find out anything definite about the dates it was in business? Without making a trip to Essex in Covid time any source of info would be appreciated. Thanks. --Len
PS- Think I saw your twin on Worthpoint.

I would guess soda water going by the top and size. If the name on it is the store then I doubt that they produced the bottle as well. Nice old bottle

Hi Joelbest!

Nothing on the bottom, although it does have an uneven flow of glass at the base from one side to another. Mine is clean as a whistle except for some surface rust on the bailing wire closure. ...Could be a soda water, there certainly isn't any hint of residue from a beer content.
Thanks for your response and welcome to our friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable organization. --Len
