Today, coming home from work I stoped for ten minutes (I was in hurry to pick my wife from work) in that place where I found the internal threded bottle. I was checking for signs if it was a proper dump. The presence of some bed frames and other big stuff reassure me that is not simply a place where the mud collected from river was thrown away.

I checked for some other bottles aswell and, beside tens of new ones, I found a milk bottle from around 30's. A nice and clean 1 pint embossed with, attention, my home town's name (Welwyn Stores Ltd). Since I got the bottle bug I checked the mighty Ebay for local bottles but I didn't see any, and here I am with a simple, but nice local. YYYYHAAA!

My town was built from scrap in 1920. There was this guy who had an idea of building spacious towns planned from the very begining with all necessary for its habitants.

It wasn't a big town then and is not big now either. It's merged with a neighbouring town and toghether they have less the 100.000 people.

If it's a rare bottle that I don't know but for my is important, and I'll not sell it unless I found another identical one.

Unfortunately I can't dig in there as it's a public place but I can scratch the ground pretending that I lost my keys...

Same spot, another local milk. It's from a nearby little town called St. Albans.

Nice find Mihai. I know where St Albans is. I had dinner with a British airman and his family who lived there almost 30 years ago.

Very nice back drop you have there too.

St Albans is relatively at walking distance from my town, Welwyn Garden City and between these two is Hatfield where use to be an airport. I even worked for an year in the main hangar when was transformed in the biggest fitness center in Europe.
