Maguire Bros. Providence, RI amber strap sided flask

Some of the most desirable RI bottles are amber strap sided flasks. There are a handful known, but all of them are exceedingly rare. I was finally able to land my first one with a trade two weeks ago. It has a neat "double" slugplate and wonderfully crude embossing. Note the uneven "Bros", and how "RI" was squeezed in. Hopefully it will have more friends joining it soon!

WOW! that is one nice looking bottle. It is funny how some kinds of bottles look entirely different depending on the region they were made for (i.e. midwest blob tops look different than east coast blobs) but then there are strapside flasks which look the same no matter where they were marketed! Very nice get, i hope you can get all of them someday!
