I just bought this nice bottle for 25 dollars at a outdoor country fair. It is a light aqua blue blobtop bottle. It is 7 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide.
Is it a Hutchinson bottle? It sounds a lot like this one, number KS0024 on the Hutchbook website. Is this the same bottle?[attachment=KS0024.jpg]I got this picture from Hutchbook, here's the link to the search results: http://hutchbook.com/Bott...&Source=Attributes
I'm not sure what the value is, but it's rated as Rare on Hutchbook, which means there are less than 10 examples estimated to exist. Someone else on here might be able to tell you the value.
Trust me, Hutchbook is very inaccurate-- so for ACLBottles, I'm glad that you realize it's only an "estimate." I actually stopped using it because I keep physically being able to see a large number of "Rare" Hutches popping up. Of the two listed from my town, both are listed as rare but really aren't-- and the only rare one I have the only photos of existing as far as I know for it's not listed. That's an LOL moment. And of the two listed, only 1 variant of each is listed-- one, to be honest, isn't really a Hutch at all. And as for the other, it comes in two distinct shades. It makes me question my "Scarce" and "Rare" Hutches. My Rare one I'm sure is only scarce, and my scarce one is...? But, I must insist that that is a nice bottle indeed. I'm not sure its value, but the word "Cherokee" in any bottle should be of benefit to it. And mostly we don't often come across Kansas bottles. I've never physically seen one. But I'm also in Michigan. If you do a "Sold Listings" search on e-Bay, you might come up with something. You can find Sold Listings by clicking on Advanced Search and checking the box for it. A person collecting that specific town, anything with a Native American Tribe's name in it, or the broad genre of Kansas would love that one. Condition looks good, too. And the stopper is always a plus.
