I have a Martin L. Wolf 1 quart amber bottle. There is embossed art work on the bottle that illustrates two women standing on opposite sides of wheat sheaf. Above them there is the words, "TRADE MARK". In between the trade mark is an eagle and under the illustration is what appears to be two olive branches.

I have tried multiple times to place photos on this forum but, cannot. I am always told that the file is too large. I have tried shooting in lower pixels, etc.

Can somone tell me what this is worth? I believe that this was a brewer from the Philadelphia area in the late 1800's ealry 1900's.

Thank you,
Kipp Adcock

p.s. I can email the photo to you directly. My email address is foxhunterkipp@verizon.net

Hey, I think the shrinking to 50% in paint worked! I will close and try to reopen.

Thanks,
Kipp

Hey Kipp,

Welcome & congratz on mastering the photo process here. You're right on the dates, but this is a whiskey bottle.

Surfaceone,

Thanks for the information! I am amazed at the knowledge that exists on this website. I haven't played with bottles for over 35 years and this site is really awakening my inner child. That is not to say that people who collect bottles are a bunch of kids (lol), it is just that I was 12 years old when I quit.
