Well, I think I'll start with a story-- just because I can:
Riding my bike in misty fog, I was accosted by a green light that bounced off my glasses, coat, bike, ground. Reflecting into my eyes, it repeatedly blinded me momentarily. Confused, annoyed, I looked all around. Soon I realized it was a laser light! Trying to pinpoint its location and also ride my bike around the bend, I passed out of range before I selected one of the two homes I narrowed it to.

Making my way to safety, I was thinking about the light. Forgotten about, it passed my mind as I spotted the area I used to live by-- shops, stores, intersections: The works. Having selected a piece of Carnival glass for my mom (she loves Carnival glass,) I barely spotted this milk bottle-- for two years or more, it had sat in a display case priced at 15 dollars. Seeing the weak embossing and high price, I never asked to look at it. Now, though, I barely noticed it behind some kerosene lamps in the window. Picking it up, I fell for the sun-purpled color, bubbles, uneven shape, and designs. I set it on the counter and went downstairs-- later purchasing it without another thought (but I told the lady it wasn't the "rare color" it was labeled to be, and I was shocked that she--a much older lady-- would read Clive Cussler-- action/adventure writer.) The laser light returned to mind as I passed a radio playing another town's station.

Leaving the antique store, I walked to the general store and bought 9 bucks of merchandise for my mom, then handed the lady a 100-dollar-bill to pay for it all. Lol. She had to call the manager over to get more money, and they had a sign warning "ATTENTION: FAKE BILLS PASSING THROUGH YOUR AREA." The sign had a picture of a 100 and listed off several serial numbers.

Leaving, I road down to that bend and thought, Only if the light bothers me again will I involve myself. I assumed it was some kid having fun, but I didn't want them to get in serious trouble if an "accident" occurred which "resulted" in "injuries." I passed a police officer who was sitting in her auto at the airport. Suddenly, I'm again lasered! It's all over me, I turn sharply from my fast pedaling into a fast stop. Glaring around, I locate the exact source and bare my teeth and growl. Circling the road, I am targeted still and go to the house.

Stopping my bike in the driveway, I stomp angrily up the walk and ring the dead door-bell. Knocking politely, I wait. I knock, wait, knock, wait, try bell again. Eventually, I yell, "I'm getting the police," and wait, but no one comes out-- also, the TV that was on went off. I leave, and the idiot again makes sure the light hits me. So, I ride down to the airport, talk to the officer, leave and am once again accosted but only pedal by and smile. I wanted to talk to the parents, alert them of the possibility of a lawsuit if someone were injured due to blindness and crashed or wanted cash and faked it, and for the annoying child or whichever immature individual was doing it to stop.

Nonetheless, I get home, do chores, wrap, and research. Turns out, the "24 B" on the front heel is for Butler Bottle Co., 1907-1916. There's a ten on the back heel--perhaps 1910? The bottle is embossed on the front, "ONE PINT / [flower symbol] / JACK'S DAIRY / [Flower symbol]" The bottle seems to be sun-colored purple, has numerous bubbles, a B on the base in center (small) and has many swirls in it as well as uneven glass. I have found nothing on the dairy, but love the bottle.http://www.sha.org/bottle/pdffiles/Butler.pdf

Distortion of my email background when looking through the JD bottle:
The mouth is uneven, so is the base, and so is especially the bottle neck connecting to the mouth-- exactly what process made this bottle's mouth-application so different from my other's? Oh, yeah: The yellow-lighted pics way above are of the 10 and 24 B on the heels, or my attempt to photograph them anyhow.
So, can anyone give me the more exact age, where it was from, dairy history, and is there value in this one?
